The Tower Part III - Release Dates & Live Show Announcements

Greetings everyone!

My name is David Devereux, I'm a writer, musician, sound designer and audio producer here at Tin Can Audio, and I'll be sharing a little bit on what we've been up, as well as some thoughts and ramblings on sound design, music, podcasting, writing, and, it seems, other stuff as well.

A simple text image for The Tower Part 3, consisting of pink and purple clouds, with text in the centre that reads 'The Tower, Part III'

As of last night, we have finished editing The Tower Part 3! The episodes have been edited, mixed and scored and the series is sounding fantastic, we can’t wait to share it with you (except, of course, we very much have to).

The first trailer for Part 3 is available now, you can listen below.

We also have our series artwork from the fantastic Sarah Grant.

The cover art for The Tower Part 3. In the centre of the image is the silhouette of a woman in profile from the neck up. Within the silhouette is the shadow of a young woman walking through a tunnel. There are purple-tinged clouds around the image. At the top of the image is the title 'The Tower Part 3' at the bottom of the image are the logos for Tin Can Audio and Creative Scotland

In a small change from our normal release convention, we will be releasing Part 3 monthly, with the first episode being released on the 30th September. The whole series will be available as an album on our Bandcamp page and will be available to pre-order at the end of September.

We are also doing our first ever Tower live show! We are going to be performing Part 3 in its entirety by the core cast for the very first time at one of my favourite places in the world, The Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh, on the 28th September. Tickets are available from the SSC website now.

We have a whole host of events and announcements in the coming month and you can keep up with all of them on Twitter, Instagram or TikTok (we have someone helping us with marketing this time around!).

Thank you for reading to the end! Here is a picture of my cat as a reward:

If you like what we do and you want to help us make more, you can buy us hot beverages on ko-fi. You can also support us by buying something from our bandcamp, where we have the soundtracks to our show as well as extra music.

All that being said, the best support you can give is listening to our shows and telling other people about them. Word-of-mouth is everything to small indie podcasters, and hearing from people who have enjoyed our work is what keeps us going.
