Tin Can Audio are producing a new 5-part audio drama series going into production in 2025 written by Bibi June (Folxlore) and sound designed by Amber Devereux (Camlann). The series is a rural mystery/thriller discussing land rights, rural queerness and pastoralism. The series will include body horror, death, and scenes of a sexual nature.
Primary recording will take place in the Tin Can Audio home studio in Glasgow. We have budget to help with travel and accommodation costs for each actor in Glasgow. All of these are paid roles, though the rate is affected by how many days each character will be needed in studio.
Presently, our intention is to record in studio from 10th-14th February. After studio recording, we will need you to be available for one 1-3hr session of remote pickups at some point between March-April. We will not ask you to do more than 1hr of additional work on pickups without paying you. If you are applying for this project, you must be available between the 10th-14th February to record in person in a studio in Glasgow. Our recording days will run from 10am-6pm, with a one hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Full information on the roles available and how to audition can be found on the application form.
